Self-guided tour

Treasures from Vindonissa

Solve puzzles and discover a real treasure from Vindonissa. On the "Treasures from Vindonissa – Become an Archaeologist" tour, visitors take on a range of roles: archaeologist, excavator, excavation technician, restorer, scientist or museum director.

Tricky questions are waiting to be answered at authentically reconstructed locations such as the excavation tent, in the excavation container, in the laboratory or in the archive before you can dig up the treasure. It's an exciting experience for families, schools and adults!

Useful information

  • The archaeological tour is included in the museum entrance fee.
  • Registration is not required.
  • Adults can also complete the tour without the treasure hunt described above.
  • The archaeological tour is not available in English.
