Arrival by public transport and car

  • From Lenzburg railway station, the "Seengen, Schloss Hallwyl" bus stop can be reached by Lenzburg regional bus (RBL) without changing.
  • From Aarau, the "Seengen, Schloss Hallwyl" bus stop can be reached on the Wynental-Suhrental Railway (WSB), changing in Teufenthal and continuing by Lenzburg Regional Bus (RBL).
  • The Seengen landing stage is only 10 minutes' walk from Hallwyl Castle.
  • Hallwyl Castle can also be easily reached from Boniswil railway station (SBB line Lucerne-Lenzburg) in about 15 minutes and from the "Seengen, Poststrasse" bus stop in 10 minutes on foot.

Parking

In the immediate vicinity of the castle there are 180 paid parking spaces available. The walk from the car park to the castle takes about 2 minutes.

There are also parking spaces for people with reduced mobility in front of the castle.

There are no official coach parking spaces available, but coaches can be parked across the marked parking spaces. As a rule, it is also possible to park beyond the barrier in the avenue leading to the castle.
