Hallwyl Castle is located 200 metres from the "Seengen, Hallwyl Castle" bus stop and is accessible by wheelchair. The bus stop is served by bus 395 every hour from Lenzburg railway station. The direct journey takes about 30 minutes. Travel by public transport is also possible by bus via Boniswil station.

General notice

Due to the historical nature of the building, parts of the complex and larger exhibition areas can only be reached via steps.

Castle courtyard

The inner courtyard and bistro area are gravelled but accessible for wheelchair users.

Museum and exhibition

Wheelchair users: Only the courtyard and bistro, part of the mill and the garden with the mill wheel are accessible to wheelchair users.
Blind and visually impaired: The exhibition is not suitable for blind and visually impaired visitors. There is no Braille labelling.
Hearing impaired: The exhibition does not have an induction loop system.
People with intellectual disabilities: There are no labels in simple language.
