Museum and exhibitions

Museum of the von Hallwyl family

Museum of the von Hallwyl family

Within the walls of Hallwyl Castle, 800 years of history are waiting to be discovered: experience the castle complex and the interactive exhibition on the construction and family history.

The exhibitions at Hallwyl Castle document the history of its construction and provide an insight into the life of its former owners, the Hallwyl family. There's also a look at the everyday life of subjects such as peasants and millers. Meanwhile, the eerie lamentations of the prisoners resound from the dungeon tower.

After visiting the museum, relax in the idyllic castle courtyard with its inviting bistro.
