Exhibition

Convent church and stained-glass windows

Explore the 700-year-old Königsfelden Abbey with its stained-glass windows, which are famed throughout Europe. The Abbey complex can be visited with an audio guide, digital abbey book or spontaneously on your own.

Tour with audiovisual guide

Listen to Master Builder Odo and the Habsburg Queen Elisabeth talking about the founding of the Abbey on a tour, or eavesdrop on his conversation with Queen Agnes about medieval glass painting. The two tours with audio guide shed light on the history of the Abbey, in particular the background to its construction.

Tour with digital abbey book

What is written on the mighty tomb slabs in the convent church? Who was buried here? If you want to delve deeper into the subject and learn more about the objects, explore the Abbey with the digital abbey book. In around 45 minutes you'll learn all there is to know about the stained-glass windows and the life of Queen Agnes.
