Special exhibition in Windisch

People and Machines

Experience the industrial history of Aargau in Windisch from 23 October 2020 to 1 May 2021! In the special exhibition "People and Machines" ("Von Menschen und Maschinen") you'll meet bosses and working-class families.

From sugar cubes to aluminium foil and ski bindings, Aargau's industry has made international history. Highlights and background information are presented in the major special exhibition "People and Machines" in Windisch. The exhibition texts are translated into English.

From 23 October 2020 to 1 May 2021, meet bosses and working-class families in the SBB Historic building. Selected objects, photographs and unique contemporary documents paint a fascinating picture of the diversity, innovative power and global networking of Aargau's industry.

Museum Aargau's special exhibition "People and Machines" also shows how companies in the canton of Aargau have managed the structural changes of recent decades. It highlights the current challenges and discusses how we will work, produce and consume in future.
