History workshop exhibition

Prepare for a military campaign in the history workshop, learn the fighting techniques of a knight or play games that provided entertainment in the Middle Ages. Explore the lives of knights, judges, rogues and collectors, all of whom lived at Lenzburg Castle.

Put on a knight's chain mail and feel the weight on his shoulders in battle. Join in the excitement when Emperor Friedrich Barbarossa, ally of the last Count of Lenzburg, goes to war in Italy with his entourage.

The exhibition also shows how a knight was able to gain victory in a tournament. You can make a medieval dice game and create your own treasure chest, reconstruct a building from Lenzburg Castle and take your own personal piece of castle home with you.
